The addition of Luka Doncic at the NBA trade deadline has proven to be a solid move for the Los Angeles Lakers so far.
On Sunday, the Lakers were able to secure their sixth-straight win with a 108-102 victory over James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers. This marked the Lakers’ second win over the Clippers in three days.
With just under two minutes remaining and the Lakers up 107-99, Dorian Finney-Smith received a pass from LeBron James and had a wide-open look for a layup to ice the game.
However, Finney-Smith blew the easy bucket and missed the tip-in in the process before it went the other way.

On Monday, Finney-Smith took to Instagram to make a post announcing a new partnership with Denon, an audio and sound company. Despite the innocence of his post, Doncic felt the need to remind Finney-Smith of his failed layup from the night before, leaving a two-word message in the comments.
“Nice layup,” Doncic commented to Finney-Smith.
Doncic ended the win over the Clippers with a team-high 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting, six rebounds and nine assists. Finney-Smith added another 11 points.
With the win, the Lakers move to 38-21 on the season and now sit in second place in the Western Conference. Up next is Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday before traveling to New York to battle the Knicks on Thursday.
