Minnesota Vikings Hall of Fame legend set to make epic return on Super Bowl Sunday. HTX

Back in December, Minnesota Vikings and National Football League fans were hit with the unfortunate news that Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss had cancer.

“I just wanted y’all to see that I did bounce back, but there’s a lot of people out there that is either battling cancer or has had cancer in their family that people are fighting,” he said. “Things took the turn for the worst … y’all best believe your boy came through.”

Randy Moss set to return to ESPN

This announcement came on December 13th, about two weeks after Moss announced he was taking a hiatus from ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown. That hiatus is set to end on Sunday afternoon, as he will return for the Super Bowl pregame show.

It’s a huge win for Moss to be returning this quickly. He has not stated publically whether or not his treatment for cancer is done, but returning is a major sign that it’s been a positive outcome.

Seeing Moss back on television will be welcomed by all, especially Vikings fans.
