NFL legend DeMarcus Ware makes shocking accusation against Eagles fans-HN

Dallas Cowboys legend DeMarcus Ware has made a shocking accusation against fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, claiming that his mother was targeted by missiles whilst watching her son.

Ware was speaking to Fox News recently when he chose to tell all about one of the toughest spells of his career, and it does not reflect well on some people within the Eagles fan base.

He played at Lincoln Financial Field in 2005 as a rookie and Eagles fans took it upon themselves to throw harmful objects at his mother.

“My rookie season when my mom was in the stands, I told her not to wear my jersey, and she was in the front row, and were up there in Philly, they were putting batteries in snowballs and throwing them and one of them hit my mom,” Ware said.

The former Cowboy admitted he nearly went looking for the perpetrator in the stands but opted not to, which in hindsight was a sensible move.

“I turned around at the time, and I didn’t care about football anymore,” Ware said. “I wanted to go get the guy who was in the stands. But I didn’t.”

More bad press for the Eagles

The story emerges at a time where Eagles fans are getting a lot of criticism. During last Sunday’s win over the Green Bay Packers. A female Packers fan was targeted by an Eagles fan who called her an ‘ugly, dumb c***,’ as seen in a viral video of the incident.

That fan has since been identified and fired from his job. This has given other people the confidence to share their thoughts about Eagles fans.

“I hate Eagles fans,’ rookie Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Jared Verse told The Los Angeles Times ahead of Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game in Philadelphia. “They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.

“When I see that green and white I hate it,” he added. “I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”
