The Detroit Lions find themselves in a league of their own with seven players being named to the NFL Pro Bowl, the league announced Thursday.

That includes five on the offense, one on defense, and one on special teams.

The pro bowl happens the week before the Super Bowl in Orlando and will include all players not heading to the Super Bowl, as well as anyone needed to replace those picked for the team but competing in the championship.

Offense:

  • Quarterback Jared Goff
  • Running Back Jahmyr Gibbs
  • Wide Receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown
  • Tackle Penei Sewell and
  • Center Frank Ragnow

Defense:

  • Safety Brian Branch

Special Teams:

  • Punter Jack Fox

Snubs

There were some snubs from the prow bowl that might raise some eyebrows, including the league’s leader in interceptions. Kerby Joseph currently has more than any other player after picking off Brock Purdy in the Lions’ win over the San Francisco 49ers.

He has two more than the player in second place, Xavier McKinney, who was selected to the pro bowl.
