The structure of this extension is expected to resemble Daniel Jones’ 2023 contract with the New York Giants (four years, $160 million, $92 million guaranteed) but adjusted for Purdy’s superior performance and market inflation.
How Purdy’s Deal Compares to Other Quarterbacks
While Purdy’s extension is substantial, it falls short of the $200 million threshold surpassed by 13 quarterbacks in the NFL. However, most of those contracts span five or more years, whereas Purdy’s deal is expected to be just four years.
His guaranteed money of $112 million would rank eighth among quarterbacks, trailing:
