However, the Packers surged to a 27-3 advantage as Miami’s offense faltered in the first half on Thursday night.
And the narrative persisted.
Following the Packers’ 30-17 triumph over Miami at Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving, despite Tagovailoa’s impressive 374 passing yards and two touchdowns, his record remains dismal at 0-8 in games with temperatures below 45 degrees and 0-5 under 40 degrees.
The Dolphins have now dropped 11 consecutive games over eight seasons when the thermometer reads 40 or lower.
One doesn’t need a weather forecast to predict Miami’s struggles when visiting the Midwest in November.
