Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (10) throws a pass during the first quarter of their game against the Houston Texans Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
As long as he is wearing a Packers uniform, Jordan Love drawing comparisons to Aaron Rodgers is inevitable, even from the former Super Bowl-winning Green Bay quarterback, himself.

Following Love’s strong performance in Sunday night’s 30-13 Packers victory over the Seahawks, and as a critical stretch run that could define Green Bay’s postseason fate intensifies, Rodgers opened up about what he has in common with the Packers’ second-year starter.
“He went through some stretches where he wasn’t feeling great body-wise,” Rodgers said, during a recent appearance on the Pat MacAfee Show. “He had the ridiculous injury first week I believe, and then he had some other groin (injury). So him, like me, and like me when I was younger, we are able to do things moving not just in the pocket but out of the pocket to extend the plays. He’s so good at that.
“Taking out that ability, and then messing with your legs a little bit, you can see some of those balls that don’t end up exactly where he wants it, and I know how that feels like.”
That’s quite an endorsement from Rodgers, of Love’s ability to overcome adversity as well as his ability to make plays on the run, which Love has improved on dramatically this season.
Love has been on an absolute tear of late, posting a passer rating above 105 in each of the past five weeks, while passing for 2,953 yards with 23 touchdowns to 11 interceptions so far this season.
