Super Bowl LIX is just around the corner, and both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles should be completely healthy and ready. Patrick Mahomes and his teammates will be going over some of the finer notes, knowing they will have a hard time against that formidable defensive line helmed by Jalen Carter.

The Georgia Bulldogs standout has some of his fellow collegiate teammates around him and together they make a defensive front seven that scares the living daylights out of anyone. After the media sessions were over, the Chiefs will be keeping tabs on how the Eagles defense is doing health wise.

It is normal for players practicing to pick up small knocks here and there. Those won’t deter players who have a chance of a lifetime to be a part of a Super Bowl. But in Jalen Carter’s situation, it was neither a knock nor an injury. NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark updated what has kept him off the field before Super Bowl LIX.

One player being sick is one thing. But then, for that illness to potentially be a threat to the entire team is another. If Philadelphia Eagles players do fall ill, they will invariably make it easier for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jalen Carter and the defensive front seven of the Philadelphia Eagles have been instrumental in their run to Super Bowl LIX. The team needs their dominant players on the field if they are to continue wrecking the game. Now the Eagles injury report came out to give their fans a sigh of relief.

Thursday’s injury list shows that the Pro-Bowler and many other teammates have practiced fully. That gives an indication that he has recovered from illness and so has the rest of the squad. The game will be decided on how the Georgia pair of Carter and Jordan Davis set the tone in the first and second downs.

If they do not hold Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense down, it could spell trouble. But that duo, along with their other front seven teammates, have helped keep other offenses at bay. Now fully healthy, and possibly having Brandon Graham back, the unit could turn the tide on the Chiefs’ three-peat hopes.
