Ravens Predicted To Land $140 Million Star WR in Blockbuster Trade To Fuel Lamar Jackson’s Super Bowl Push.THANHDUNG

The Baltimore Ravens came up short en route to the Super Bowl once again, leaving many to question what it will take for superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson to get over the hump.

In the Ravens’ AFC Divisional Round loss to the Buffalo Bills, Jackson’s leading weapons were tight end Isaiah Likely with four receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown, and wide receiver Rashod Bateman with four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. While these are respectable numbers, none of Jackson’s targets are premier names with experience in the spotlight.

It shouldn’t be their first priority, but landing an established target for Jackson to rely on in the biggest moments could be crucial to making noise next season.

Baltimore’s offense is no stranger to dealing with dropped passes, which is what makes Davante Adams such an appealing trade target. While he hasn’t been as reliable recently, Bleacher Report still predicts the Ravens to acquire Adams from the New York Jets for a relatively inexpensive asking price.

“The Baltimore Ravens aren’t likely to swing any blockbuster trades in 2025. They don’t have any glaring needs, and they have less than $6 million in cap space, per Over the Cap,” Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport wrote.

“The Ravens might not have glaring needs, but their roster could use an upgrade or two. Zay Flowers topped 1,000 receiving yards last year, but Baltimore could use another proven wideout to help Lamar Jackson build on last year’s excellent passing stats,” Davenport stated.

Jackson ranked as PFSN’s No. 1 QB last season while their offense slotted at No. 2, according to PFSN’s QB+ metric. It’s clearly hard to improve in the offensive standings, but instead, Adams brings a level of trust to a Ravens unit currently lacking it. Outside of TE Mark Andrews, Baltimore’s offense is full of youth on the outside.

“Fitting Adams’ deal under the cap would take work, but Adams would likely jump at the opportunity to play for a legitimate Super Bowl contender. With the Jets seemingly ready to move on from Adams, the 32-year-old probably wouldn’t be especially expensive in terms of draft capital,” Davenport concluded.

Chances are Adams isn’t with the Jets next year, especially if veteran QB Aaron Rodgers decides to retire or is likely dealt elsewhere. Going from the No. 19-ranked offense by PFSN to near the top of the NFL would certainly be appealing for the $140 million wideout.
