Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been named a finalist for the 2024 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award.
Hamlin is a finalist for the honor for a second-straight year. In 2023, Hamlin was assumed to be the winner but quarterback Joe Flacco was surprisingly picked.
Last season, while named a finalist, Hamlin did not make big contributions to the Bills. His nomination was linked to his return to Buffalo’s roster following his episode with cardiac arrest. That will, and should, factor in now as well… but Hamlin has continued to add to his incredible journey in 2024.
Hamlin has earned starting snaps on the Bills defense and played well. Hamlin has recorded his first-career interception this past season, too.
The winner will be announced at the NFL Awards on Feb. 6.
