REPORT: Lions vs. Vikings injury report has 3 ruled out, 5 questionable for Week 18.THANHDUNG

The Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings released their final injury reports of the week on Friday and a total of three players have been ruled out and another five are questionable for the Week 18 game on Sunday night.

The two players ruled out for the Lions are running back David Montgomery and cornerback Emmanuel Moseley. Montgomery is working his way back from a knee injury that is expected to sideline him until the divisional round, while Moseley is dealing with an unspecified illness.

The Lions might be even shorter at running back this week, as Craig Reynolds is questionable to play after popping up on the injury report on Friday with a back issue.

If Reynolds sits, Jermar Jefferson will be tasked with spelling Jahmyr Gibbs, and Detroit also has rookie Sione Vaki to chip in if needed. Jefferson must first be elevated from the practice squad, which can happen on Saturday.

The other two Lions who are questionable are linebacker Alex Anzalone, who was designated to return from injured reserve this week, and wide receiver Kalif Raymond, who was designated to return last week.

While Raymond figures to suit up after two straight weeks of full practices, the status of Anzalone isn’t as certain. Anzalone, who turned in one limited practice and two full sessions, admitted during the week that he doesn’t fully trust his forearm yet.

“A hundred percent? No,” Anzalone said when asked about whether or not he trusts his forearm, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

“Obviously, the doctors and the trainers, they kind of go through what the risks are of waiting a week, waiting two weeks, going through practice and maybe let it spend next week or the week after that or this week (healing),” Anzalone said.

“So I think that for me personally, I think it’s like, OK, say if something did happen, would I be OK not playing in the Super Bowl? So I think that that’s kind of the decision I have to make in my own head and is it worth it and how do I feel going over these next few practices and go from there,” Anzalone added. “Cause I haven’t practiced in six weeks, so I’m just using my arm and seeing how it goes.”

The Vikings have a clean bill of health as far as their starters are concerned, but linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill and cornerback Fabian Moreau are questionable, and outside linebacker Patrick Jones II has been ruled out.

Now, a look at the full list of injury designations for the Lions and Vikings ahead of the crucial winner-take-all game on Sunday night that will determine the No. 1 seed and NFC North champion.
