REPORT: NFL Analyst Suggests Bills Sign 9-Time Pro Bowler Pass Rusher.THANHDUNG

The Buffalo Bills are once again coming off of a season where they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs. The Chiefs did look mortal in this year’s Super Bowl, dropping the Big Game to the Philadelphia Eagles 42-20.

For the Bills, they are continuously looking to improve the roster to get over the Patrick Mahomes-shaped bump in their road.

FanDuel TV analyst Kay Adams thinks a key missing piece could be coming from the West Coast. On Monday’s edition of her show “Up and Adams”, she suggested the team sign nine-time Pro Bowler Khalil Mack.

“Do we see them take a swing on Khalil Mack? Do they bring him to Buffalo where he played college ball? … I would love to see that. The Bills finished 18th in sacks this past season, so the pass rush surely could use a boost,” she said.

Mack is coming off of a one-year, $20 million deal and a 39 tackle, six sack season. Mack is one year removed from a career-high 17 sacks. Mack’s resume speaks for itself, as on top of the Pro Bowls, he’s a three-time All Pro, the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year, and was named to the Hall of Fame All-2010s team.

Mack will be looking to suit up for his fourth NFL team next season. He will be celebrating his 34th birthday on Saturday.

Mack knows a particular Bill quite well. He and Von Miller were arch-rivals as the premiere defensive players in the AFC West, facing off against one another twice a year from 2014-2017. The pair were in the conversation for best linebacker in the NFL for a number of years, and the pair could be a deathly combination for opposing offenses.

As Adams mentioned, Mack knows Buffalo well. A four-year Bull, Mack has the FBS records for tackles-for-loss (76) and forced fumbles (16). Mack recorded double-digit tackles for loss in all four of his collegiate seasons, twice eclipsing the 20 mark and never having less than 15.

In the NFL, Mack has racked up 142 tackles for loss, the 13th-most in NFL history. Rising the ranks in the same city he went to college could be both poetic, and perhaps the boost the Bills need.
