REPORT: Ravens to reunite with former fan favorite player turned coach.THANHDUNG

The Baltimore Ravens and head coach John Harbaugh are expected to continue revamping his staff with another familiar face. According to a report from Matt Zenitz of CBS and 24/7 Sports, they are set to hire former player-turned-coach, Anthony Levine, as an assistant special teams coach.

Levine came into the league as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee State with the Green Bay Packers in 2010. He played the vast majority of his career with the Ravens from 2012-21 where he earned the nickname ‘Co-Cap’ and established himself as one of the best special teams players in the league. Levine occasionally stepped up on defense and played prominent rotational and situational roles as a safety, dime linebacker and cornerback in a pinch back in 2014. During his time in Baltimore as a player, he was a part of three AFC North division-winning teams and a Super Bowl-winning team in 2012.

After retiring from playing the game, Levine jumped right into coaching in Charm City as a personnel and coaching assistant in 2022. He spent the past two seasons with the Tennessee Titans serving as an assistant special teams coach. The 37-year-old will be working closely under Ravens special teams coordinator Chris Horton to continue the development of the young special teams contributors the team has added in recent years who have struggled with consistency and discipline at times.
