Over the past two seasons, Alexander has only played in 14 games and in his last four seasons, he has only played in 34 games. Financially, Alexander has a cap hit of nearly $25 million in 2025, a number that fits his inconsistent status. If the Packers decide to cut him outright, they’ll get back more than $6.8 million in salary. However, waiting until after June 1 to do so would save more than $17 million, giving the team more financial room to bolster its roster.
