The Buffalo Bills fell 23-16 against the New England Patriots in Week 18, however, it was a meaningless game for quarterback Josh Allen and Co.
The Bills entered the final game of the regular season with the AFC East title and No. 2 playoff seed already secured. Next up, the Bills host the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card Playoff round. After the Bills rested the bulk of their starters against the Patriots, they entered the postseason with a mostly healthy roster.
However, Allen may be without one of his top receivers against the Broncos. One day before facing New England, the Bills announced that wide receiver Amari Cooper was not traveling with the team to Foxborough due to a personal family matter.
While fans wished Cooper the best, there was little concern over his absence against the Patriots since the game didn’t matter. However, Bills head coach Sean McDermott shared a concerning update on their starting wide receiver while speaking to reporters on Monday, January 6.
