The Chicago Bulls have surprised a lot of people with their recent results. A lot of people might have expected them to give up on the season after trading Zach LaVine and look to improve their draft lottery chances.
The Bulls have not done that. Instead, they are on a 5-1 run and have now moved past the Miami Heat to get into the 9th spot in the East.
Even more impressively, they have done so despite not having Josh Giddey in the last three games.
Giddey has earned a lot of plaudits for how well he has done lately and rightfully so. But one cannot overlook Coby White’s contributions recently as well.
Since the turn of the year, White has averaged 21.0 points, 4.3 assists and 3.6 rebounds. Great numbers and they are even more remarkable if you just take this month into consideration.
In March, White has been averaging 28.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 8 games so far, not scoring less than 21 points in any of them.
According to Empire Sports Media, Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus has suggested White as a potential trade target for the New York Knicks.

Right now, the Knicks seem to be just a level below the genuine Championship contenders. They are 3rd in the East with a 43-24 record but they have a 0-7 record this season when up against the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers, widely recognized as the three best teams in the league at the moment.
So, they could do with a bit more strengthening over the offseason and it would not come as a surprise if they are keeping an eye out on White, whose name had been involved in trade rumors before the February 6 deadline although a move did not materialise.
