Under Armour recently opened its first Curry Brand store in Chengdu, China in September last year, a milestone hailed by Asia-Pacific head Jason Archer as a sign of the brand’s growing global clout. And seriously, when a guy like Steph steps into sportswear, you know something big is happening.

During a chat on The Circuit with Emily Chang, Curry laid out his vision: “Is the ambition to be as big as Air Jordan?” he asked, adding, “My version of that in the sense of, he set the standard and then everybody’s in the comparison game of his career on the court and obviously, what Air Jordan means, you know, culturally on court as well.”
