Steve Kerr Announces Massive Jonathan Kuminga Update Amid Warriors’ Hot Streak…TS.DHUNG.

Once again, the Golden State Warriors are victorious.

After a five-game road trip, to which they posted a 4-1 record, they returned to the Bay Area to host the Detroit Pistons.

The Warriors had to perform in crunch time, securing a 115-110 victory after trailing late in the contest. The Pistons, who have also been red-hot this season, gave Golden State a run for their money.

Still, the Warriors were able to squeeze out another win, improving their record to 11-1 with Jimmy Butler in the lineup and 11-2 since the trade deadline.

Golden State has every bit of found their footing on the season, posting a 36-28 record through 64 games played.

To make their win over Detroit even more impressive, the Warroirs were without key guard Brandin Podziemski, as he left their previous game against the Brooklyn Nets within a minute of play with a back injury.

He should return soon, though, as he was listed as “day-to-day” by Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.

Kerr gives Kuminga injury update

Before the Warriors took on the Pistons, though, Kerr gave a critical update on Jonathan Kuminga’s awaited return.

The young star forward was supposed to be ready to go by the team’s homestead, which he obviously wasn’t ready for.

Ahead of the recent contest, Kerr revealed that Kuminga scrimmaged and looked good, though he’s not quite ready to go, according to Marc Grandi.

“He scrimmaged just now,” Kerr revealed. “…He looked good. Conditioning is getting there. He’s feeling positive and that’s a good sign. He’s had a couple good days in a row, so we’ll keep going… Should be soon and we’re excited to get him back.”

Like Kerr, Warriors nation is ready and eager for Kuminga to return, as he was playing the best basketball of his career prior to his injury, and the club has recently found their form, making his return intriguing.
