Have yourself a night, Riley Greene.

The Detroit Tigers outfielder came up big in Friday’s 11-5 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. Greene was 2 for 5 with a home run and 4 RBI’s as the Tigers cruised to their 46th win of the season.

was also a milestone night for the 24-year-old Greene as he notched his 200th career RBI, becoming the first Tiger to reach that mark before turning 25 since Travis Fryman in 1992, per MLB.com’s Jason Beck.

Despite being added to the history books, Greene isn’t too concerned with his personal achievements. Rather, the rising star is more focused on stuffing the win column.

Oh cool,” Greene said when made aware of his milestone. “I’m just trying to help this team win. I feel like those just come with it. Just showing up every day and helping the team win is my goal every single day.”

The 2024 American League All-Star is once again making his case to appear in the midsummer classic this year. Following last night, Greene is hitting .279 with 14 home runs, 48 RBI’s (fourth in the AL) and a .833 OPS. Additionally, he is on pace for the first 100-RBI season by a Tiger since Nick Castellanos in 2017. His performance has  cemented himself as one of the bright young outfielders in all of Major League Baseball.

The Tigers currently boast the Majors’ best record at 46-25. They lead the AL Central by an incredibly wide nine-game margin over the second-place Minnesota Twins.
