The Buffalo Bills have solidified their receiving corps by signing wide receiver Khalil Shakir to a four-year contract extension worth up to $60.2 million, including $32 million guaranteed at signing. This agreement, reported by Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, ensures Shakir remains with the team through the 2029 season.

Drafted in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Boise State, Shakir has developed into a key offensive weapon for the Bills. In the 2024 season, he led the team with 821 receiving yards and recorded four touchdown receptions, amassing 76 catches on 100 targets over 15 regular-season games. His postseason performance was equally impressive, contributing 18 receptions for 174 yards as the Bills advanced to the AFC Championship Game, where they narrowly fell to the Kansas City Chiefs, 32-29.
