The NFL schedule for 2025 hasn’t been set yet, but it’s possible that the Buffalo Bills could be one of the first NFL teams ever to play a regular season game in Ireland.
This could be the year that you actually get to go to Ireland for the first time. I wouldn’t buy a plane ticket just yet, but maybe start saving your money for the trip. They say that Buffalo Bills fans travel well and this could be the best way to prove it.
The NFL is going to hold their first game ever in Ireland. It’s part of their mission to spread the love of American football across the globe by holding international games during the regular season. They’re set to hold 8 games in other countries during the 2025-2026 season. It appears that negotiations are close and that one of them could be held in Ireland.
According to CBS Sports, Ireland’s largest sporting association, the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) has been in talks with the Pittsburgh Steelers to bring a game to Croke Park. They have been outspoken about trying to make it happen soon.
Many believe that it will happen this year. If it does, the game would feature the Pittsburgh Steelers as the home team.
Now that the 2024 season is just about over they can determine each team’s opponents for the next season. The Bills announced theirs today.
The Bills will be traveling to Pittsburgh at some point in the year. That makes it a possibility that they could end up making the long trip to Ireland to play them there. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until April to see if it becomes a reality.
