The Detroit Lions officially revealed their 2025 coaching staff on Tuesday, marking the conclusion of one of the most significant brain drain periods in franchise history. The restructuring included some role eliminations, such as assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant defensive line coach, while adding new positions for both offensive and defensive assistants.

For instance, instead of filling the vacant assistant quarterbacks coach role left by J.T. Barrett, the Lions hired former quarterbacks Bruce Gradkowski and Marques Tuiasosopo as offensive assistants.
