The heavy disrespect for Josh Allen keeps on growing in MVP race..ANHTRUC.

Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen just got heavily disrespected once again. As a matter of fact, the entire Bills roster was just disrespected. The rosters for the AP All-Pro First Team offense and defense were revealed today and not a single Bill was put on there, including Allen.

Instead of Allen, his competition for the MVP award, Lamar Jackson was named to the First-Team All-Pro roster. According to Peter Schrager, Jackson received 30 votes (out of a possible 50) as a 1st team All-Pro quarterback. On the other hand, Allen only received 18 votes.

There are 50 All-Pro voters.

— Lamar Jackson got 30 votes as 1st team All Pro QB.

— Josh Allen got 18 votes as 1st team All Pro QB.

Is that an indicator on how the MVP vote will go as well?

Buffalo was already disrespected in the Pro Bowl voting, where only Allen and Dion Dawkins were voted as Pro Bowlers. Yet Jackson and nine of his teammates were voted as Pro Bowlers. In addition, Jackson was not the only First-Team All-Pro voted from the Ravens. Teammates Roquan Smith and Marlon Humphrey were also voted in.Buffalo Bills v Baltimore Ravens

It looks like no one was clearly watching Josh Allen this season

It’s easy for Lamar Jackson to have a great season considering that the has a future Hall of Famer running back behind him in Derrick Henry. Or the fact that he had a better supporting cast coming into this season as compared to Allen. He has a top-five tight end in Mark Andrews, and Zay Flowers has grown in his second year with the Ravens.

On the other hand, Josh Allen and the Bills were receiving an enormous amount of disrespect coming into 2024. Yet, they clinched their division before the Ravens did. They won more games than the Ravens. Josh Allen was setting and breaking records each week, both franchise and league records. Not to mention, Allen was doing all of this with a weaker supporting cast and in a division where all of the attention was on the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.

This season, we have seen Allen throw, run and catch a pass for a touchdown in the same game. He has scored six total touchdowns (3 passing, 3 rushing) in one game. He has tied the franchise rushing touchdown record that was held by Thurman Thomas. There’s so much more that he has done but that would take forever to list. Let’s not forget, he was doing all of this while having a broken hand.

The fact that Jackson was named as a First-Team All-Pro and Allen wasn’t, it may have just been an indication that Jackson is on his way to winning this third MVP award. Say what you want about the stats, but if you take Jackson out of Baltimore, the Ravens would still be a solid team. If you take Allen out of Buffalo, the Bills are one of the bottom teams in the NFL. Plain and simple.
