The Miami Dolphins have released veteran running back Raheem Mostert, as announced by his agent, Brett Tessler, on February 14, 2025. This move is part of the team’s efforts to adjust their roster and salary cap ahead of the upcoming NFL season.

Mostert, who will turn 33 in April, joined the Dolphins in 2022 after a notable tenure with the San Francisco 49ers. During his time in Miami, he made a significant impact, especially in the 2023 season when he rushed for a career-high 1,012 yards and led the NFL with 21 total touchdowns, earning his first Pro Bowl selection. However, his performance declined in the 2024 season, recording 278 rushing yards and two touchdowns over 13 games.
