Travis Kelce admits ahead of AFC title game that Bills QB Josh Allen is living out a dream that he once had for himself..anhtruc.

It’s very clear that Josh Allen has the respect of everyone in the NFL, and that includes the members of the Kansas City Chiefs. But, Travis Kelce took it one step further on Friday afternoon.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was asked about what he’s seen from Allen, and admitted that the quarterback is the player he wanted to become in the NFL.

“Josh is who I used to dream about being like in the NFL,” Kelce told reporters. “Big athletic quarterback, big arm, be able to be a dual-threat guy… I just never had the arm talent that Josh had, so they kicked me over to quarterback.”

“His ability to do everything. You can tell he’s took the bull by the horns and really been their leader upfront and channeled that. Guys come in and out the building and he’s the main piece in there of making that thing go week in week out,” he added. “I have so much respect for that guy.”

Allen is playing the best football of his career, and was named one of five finalists for the NFL’s highest individual honor. He and Lamar Jackson are viewed as the two front-runners for MVP.

So, it’s no secret that the Chiefs defense will have their hardest task of the season. The Bills already defeated Kansas City once this year, but playoffs is a completely different situation. And with that, players are competing at another level.

Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes has become one of the great rivalries in the history of the NFL, so Sunday’s game will certainly deliver. Now, we’ll just have to see if Allen is finally able to get past the Chiefs and move on to the big game in New Orleans. Or, will Kansas City get their shot at the first three-peat in NFL history?
