Los Yankees de Nueva York cedieron al lanzador derecho Carlos Carrasco a Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre el jueves, dos días después de que lo designaron para asignación.

Los Yankees llamaron al lanzador derecho Yerry de los Santos de Triple-A el martes en un movimiento correspondiente.

Carrasco, de 38 años, tuvo marca de 2-2 con una efectividad de 5.91 en ocho apariciones (seis aperturas) para los Yankees esta temporada.

Veterano de 16 temporadas en las Grandes Ligas con Cleveland (2009-20, 2024), los Mets de Nueva York (2021-23) y los Yankees, Carrasco tiene marca de 112-105 con dos salvamentos y una efectividad de 4.18 en 332 apariciones (283 aperturas).

En una aparición con los Yankees a principios de esta temporada, de los Santos lanzó dos entradas sin permitir carreras. Tuvo marca de 1-1 y una efectividad de 1.74 en 10 apariciones como relevista en Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
