UPDATE: Bills and CB Tre White reached agreement today on a one-year deal worth up to $6.8 million…tn

The Buffalo Bills are anticipating the 2025 NFL Draft kicking off on April 24 just like the rest of the teams in the league that are always looking to get better. Buffalo comes into this draft with some clear needs on both sides of the ball, but it looks like they decided to go outside of the draft to address their needs at cornerback, including a reunion with one of their best.

Reports: Bills bring back CB Tre'Davious White | Reuters

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Thursday that the Bills and cornerback Tre’Davious White have agreed to a one-year deal that can be worth up to $6.8 million. White began his career in 2017 when he was the 27th overall pick of the Draft by Buffalo and went on to play his first seven seasons with the franchise before heading elsewhere.

White, 30, left the Bills after the 2023 season to sign with the Los Angeles Rams where he played four games, racking up 12 tackles and two pass deflections. White, along with a 2027 seventh-round pick, was traded from the Rams to the Baltimore Ravens in November in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick, showing how much his value has decreased since his glory days in Buffalo.

During his time with the Ravens, White did not fare much better as he went from being a starter with the Rams to a reserve with Baltimore, piling up 10 tackles and three passes deflected in seven games. White became a free-agent this summer and while he could have went anywhere to continue his career, he decided to come back to a Bills team where he had some of his best years.

In White’s first four years in Buffalo, he was a two-time Pro Bowler, one-time first-team All-Pro, and he was even ranked as a top-100 player for the 2020 and 2021 campaigns. At this point of the offseason, White joins a cornerback group led by Christian Benford, who just signed a four-year, $76 million extension, and Dane Jackson as the guys likely to be starters heading into the 2025 season.
