The Buffalo Bills have locked up the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs, which means several star players will not play in the season finale against the New England Patriots. That said, multiple Bills will still have something to play for in the final game before the playoffs, as they have incentives that could be hit that trigger big pay days.
Most notably, Von Miller is just one sack away from triggering a $1.5 million incentive. Three other Bills have the potential to hit on incentives, as well. If Taron Johnson records an interception, that will trigger a $250,000 reward. DqQuon Jones needs just a half sack to get $250,000. And tight end Dawson Knox is eight receptions and 89 yards away from a $250,000 bonus, as well.
Being that Johnson is one of the team’s top defenders, we may not see him on the field much, if at all, in Week 18, However, Miller, Jones, and Knox will likely all get a chance to earn themselves big pay days.
