UPDATE: George Pickens among Three Steelers Likely Out vs. Ravens.THANHDUNG

Wide receiver George Pickens and quarterback Justin Fields have been ruled out by the Pittsburgh Steelers for Saturday’s potential AFC North-clinching game against the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced on Thursday. Strong safety DeShon Elliott is considered doubtful to play.

George Pickens injury update from Steelers insider offers troubling outlook | Sporting News

Pickens did not participate for the third straight day and has been out suffering his hamstring injury two weeks ago. He will miss his third straight game with the ailment. Van Jefferson and Mike Williams should expect to be among the starters with Pickens out, and Scotty Miller will continue to get a helmet.

Fields left Sunday’s game against the Eagles with an abdominal injury after running just one play. He slid at the end of that run, and was hit by Eagles safety Reed Blankenship as he was going down. Blankenship was flagged on the play. Kyle Allen will serve as the backup quarterback.

Elliott, who was listed as limited in practice on Thursday, will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury suffered against the Cleveland Browns in Week 14. Minkah Fitzpatrick will once again move to strong safety, with Damontae Kazee and Cam Sutton filling in at free safety.
