The off-season movement continues around the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs taking another player from an AFC West rival in free agency.
According to an announcement from the SportsTrust Advisors agency, former Las Vegas Raiders defensive lineman Janarius Robinson agreed on a deal with Kansas City on Friday. Steve Spagnuolo’s defense gets another player with pass-rushing ability that can add depth to the defensive line going into training camp.
Robinson spent the last two seasons with Las Vegas, appearing in 10 games and starting one during the 2024 season. He tallied five tackles, half a sack, and two quarterback hits. The 25-year-old began his career with the Minnesota Vikings as a fourth-round pick in 2021. He also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles for a season in 2022.
A former Florida State standout, Robinson has dealt with injury issues throughout his professional career. He can play a significant role on the roster if he impresses the coaching staff in camp and sees a resurgence in his career.
