UPDATE: PFF Grade Highlights Derrick Henry’s Historic First Season With Ravens.THANHDUNG

In his first season with the Baltimore Ravens, the 31-year-old running back Derrick Henry showed no signs of slowing down, recording 367 carries for 2,191 yards and 19 touchdowns, including the postseason.

All that production from the former Tennessee Titans star resulted in one of the best rushing seasons not only this year but in recent memory. Pro Football Focus (PFF) gave him a 94.2 overall grade, tops among running backs this season. His 93.5 rushing grade per PFF is the highest ever recorded in the PFF era, which dates back to 2006.

He also led all qualifying running backs in yards per carry (6.0), first-down rushes (105) and missed tackles forced on carries (88). All three marks rank in the top eight all-time.

Once Baltimore paired Henry with MVP runner-up Lamar Jackson this offseason, it was assumed the duo would be nearly impossible to stop on the ground. The Ravens’ NFL-leading 187.6 rushing yards per game during the regular season proved that to be true.

The success continued into the postseason, where the Ravens managed a remarkable 237.5 rushing yards per game, a feat that included 299 rushing yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Henry and Jackson finished fourth and second, respectively, in Offensive Player of the Year voting as a result of their performances this season.
