UPDATE: Pittsburgh Steelers lose three players for Eagles game, including two stars.TS.THANHDUNG

The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out wide receiver George Pickens, safety DeShon Elliott, and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi for the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

George Pickens

Pickens is missing his second straight game after suffering a grade 2 hamstring strain last Thursday in practice. He could miss more time, as the Steelers will be cautious with their approach to his recovery instead of rushing him back.

Elliott is missing his first game of the season after reporting hamstring tightness after the team’s game against the Cleveland Browns. He never came out of the game, but Elliott failed to log a limited practice this week. Mike Tomlin seemed optimistic he would play, but that did not come true.

Defensive end Larry Ogunjobi has a groin injury and this will be his first missed game of the season. He suffered last week against the Browns, but the team could be without him for a few weeks as it heals.

Defensive tackle Montravius Adams is on injured reserve, but could be activated and play as he recovers from a torn meniscus. Meanwhile, offensive tackle Calvin Anderson is questionable after suffering a groin injury.
