The Tennessee Titans released former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Kellen Diesch on Thursday. With the need to add a kicker amid questions there for the Titans, Diesch ended up on the short end of the stick. He signed with the Titans just a little bit over a month ago. Former Steelers kicker Matthew Wright joined the Titans after Diesch’s release.

An athletic offensive tackle who ran a sub-5.0 40-yard dash while coming out of Arizona State, Diesch was with the Steelers for 2023 on their practice squad. They released him after during offseason training activities and he was claimed by the Cleveland Browns, but failed his physical.
All in all, Diesch has spent most of his NFL career with the Chicago Bears. He spent most of the 2022 season there and parts of the 2023 season before the Steelers snapped him up. Since the Steelers released him, the Browns, New England Patriots, and now the Titans have signed Diesch to their practice squad.
He has yet to play in an NFL game, but the two-time All-PAC 12 selection has the size and pedigree to keep earning opportunities. Standing at 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, Diesch is an athletic mover in space with great size.
