
A few players got tangled up after Detroit rookie Ron Holland committed a foul on Timberwolves standout Naz Reid.
After the play was whistled, Reid became enraged as he went over to the rookie to exchange words.
Minnesota veteran Donte DiVincenzo would then step in and exchange words and shoves with Holland, which led to benches clearing and players and coaches from both sides getting involved.
It happened with just over eight minutes left in the game.
Multiple players and coaches from the Detroit Pistons and the Minnesota Timberwolves would descend upon the brawl as it made its way to the crowd.
A massive brawl and subsequent lengthy video review resulted in seven ejections between the sides.
After the review, it was concluded that several Pistons and a coach would have to exit the game early. Isaiah Stewart, Ron Holland, Marcus Sasser, and JB Bickerstaff were ejected from Detroit’s side.
Donte DiVincenzo, Naz Reid, and Pablo Prigioni were ejected on Minnesota’s side.
Multiple Pistons And Timberwolves Are Likely To Be Suspended And Fined

A fight that broke out midway through the second quarter of the Detroit Pistons vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game resulted in seven ejections.
With emotions high, the scene spiraled out of control after Holland fouled Reid on a layup attempt.
Holland, Isaiah Stewart, and Marcus Sasser, along with Bickerstaff, were ejected from the Pistons’ side.
For the Timberwolves, it was Reid, DiVincenzo, and Prigioni.
After careful review by the league, many players and possibly coaches will likely be suspended and fined for their actions.
The Wolves and Pistons both have seven regular-season games remaining after Sunday.
