Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had the most gut-wrenching sideline reaction when his team fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Once again, Allen and the Bills were oh-so-close to taking down their postseason Kryptonite in January. But Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs made those few extra plays and snuck out a tight 32-29 win to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl for the fifth time in six years.

Kansas City iced the game when Patrick Mahomes found running back Samaje Perine for a 17-yard gain on 3rd-and-9 with 1:35 left. Right after the win, cameras cut to Josh Allen’s heartbreaking reaction on the sideline:

Allen was excellent on the grand stage, completing 22 of 34 pass attempts for 237 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions to go along with 39 rushing yards. But Dalton Kincaid’s costly fourth-down drop with the game on the line, coupled with the Bills’ inability to get the stops on defense, ultimately led to another devastating playoff loss.

The Bills’ defense performed below expectations this year, and none of Buffalo’s wide receivers hit 1,000 yards this year. If Buffalo had more game-changers on both sides of the ball, Allen would have won a Super Bowl by now.
