The Buffalo Bills are 13-3 and locked into the AFC’s second seed, but that won’t stop Josh Allen from playing in their Week 18 game.
Although he won’t be playing much, he was still being praised for his actions before the game even kicked off.
Footage from inside Gillette Stadium showed an assortment of New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills players on the field in various hoodies.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen was also on the field, but not with his teammates.
The veteran quarterback could be seen coaching up Drake Maye before the game.
For most of the season, Josh Allen has been the frontrunner for the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award.
Allen has thrown for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, and six interceptions while also rushing for 531 yards and 12 touchdowns as he gets ready to play sparingly in Week 18.

On his heels, if not ahead of him, is Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Following Saturday’s 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns, Jackson finished the regular season with 4,172 passing yards, 41 passing touchdowns, and just four interceptions. He also added 916 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
With that stat line, Jackson becomes the first player in NFL history to throw for 4,000 yards and rush for 800 yards.
