Well, this defeat could’ve been avoided if they were defensively sound and took their opportunities.
Speaking of defensive soundness, their ever-present defensive weapon, Draymond Green had a forgettable night. To start with, the Sixers were on a nine-game losing streak before facing Golden State and hard-hit by injuries. However, Green, who at his peak was someone attackers didn’t like going against, couldn’t hit the strides running. In fact, he missed layups, committed unnecessary fouls, and, to top it all off, let the Sixers shoot the ball at their will.
After this poor performance, fans are starting to question the 34-year-old big man’s future at the franchise. While, we wouldn’t go far just yet, given how much he has done for the Warriors. The fans don’t think that Green has much left in the tank. Amidst this conversation, a post of Green has surfaced on X. In the post, Green is seen hugging someone who appears to be Curry with a grin on his face. That picture is parallel to WWE superstar John Cena’s recent picture of the moment he turned into a heel.
Hence, a comparison is drawn that the Warriors’ big man has turned into a heel for his franchise. The Dubs faithful seem to agree with the post with one fane writing, “Bro is Real Heel For warriors.” He suggested that Green is no more playing for the Warriors’ cause. On the contrary, he’s hampering the team’s progress and causing a dent in their playoff aspirations. Well, this isn’t the only reaction, there’s a lot more from where this came from.

So, to fire them might be a stretch.
Another fan was frustrated by the fact that Green’s shooting and defensive woes cost them a potential turnaround, “he literally ruined a possible comeback, bruh, I’m so pissed.” Well, with no steals or blocks 36 minutes into the game is not good, to say the least. Moreover, the Warriors also conceded a massive 68 points backing up the fan’s frustration.

He posted, “I have Draymond right behind Lebron and Kyrie Irving on my list of Warriors killers, lol.” As he took a sarcastic jab at the Dubs’ big man. As Lebron and Kyrie of course are on the list from their time in Cleveland but Green being on the list shows the anger within the Golden State’s faithful.
Overall, Draymond Green will have to take this one on the chin and move on from tonight’s forgettable performance. As the Warriors take on the Hornets next where he’ll have a shot at redemption.
