With a grin and a wink, Terry Bradshaw turned to Tom Brady and, in a moment of pure humor, said, “I’ll loan you some money.” The room erupted in laughter as Terry, always the jokester, lightened the mood with a playful offer that caught Brady off guard.-kid

Terry Bradshaw gave Tom Brady some money on a recent edition of the FOX NFL Sunday program. Brady was scheduled to discuss the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons, but Rob Gronkowski had other ideas. As Brady was set to get into the nitty-gritty of the game, Gronk couldn’t resist making the segment about something a little more personal-his own restaurant.

Terry Bradshaw hilariously offers Tom Brady to loan some money

Tom Brady complimented Baker Mayfield’s performance in the game of Tampa Bay Buccaneers against New Orleans Saints but was cut off by former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski. “Tom, what’s up my brother?” Gronkowski asked Brady.

“I heard you took the FOX crew to my restaurant, Rocca last night – the best Italian food in all of Tampa. How was it, my brother?” Brady responded quickly, “It was absolutely incredible, I tell you. I loved it. Great job Gronk.” Brady continued, “I don’t know what your involvement is, I don’t know if you’re setting the menu – but they did say on the way out, ‘You still have like an outstanding bill or something you didn’t pay’, which is kind of crazy. And honestly, I didn’t want to pick up the tab, I’m a little low on cash these days. I’ve been spending a lot lately, so sorry about that.”

The joke sparked laughter from the FOX team, leading to Terry Bradshaw to say, “Hey, give me a call. I’ll loan you some money. Low on cash, oh my God,” Bradshaw, one of the most powerful arms in NFL history, was a force to be reckoned with as a member of the 1970s Steelers dynasty. He threw for more than 300 yards seven times, including three times in the postseason. In four Super Bowl appearances, he threw for 932 yards and nine touchdowns, records at the time of his retirement. In 19 postseason games, he completed 261 passes for 3,833 yards.

Gronkowski played eight years with the Patriots and won three Super Bowls with Brady, but announced his retirement in 2019, citing the effect of injuries on his mental health. He returned to the NFL in April 2020, and he signed with the Buccaneers under Bruce Adrians. He reunited with Brady, who recently joined a month earlier. After winning his fourth Super Bowl, Gronkowski retired in June 2022 most probably to stay out of the game even in the distant future.

Despite the good-natured jabs, Brady talked about the Buccaneers’ chances in the playoffs, citing their success with Baker Mayfield leading the charge to win the NFC South division. He also complimented wide receiver Mike Evans on his 11th-straight 1,000-yard season, tying an NFL record and saying it was one of the most special plays he’s ever seen. The conversation turned back to the game and the Buccaneers’ success.
