Bregman ended the game with a 4-for-5 performance, driving in six runs as Boston cruised to an 18-7 victory. He launched his second home run in a Red Sox jersey in the third inning, a 411-foot shot to center field, complementing his two doubles. Sunday’s second game of the doubleheader marked Bregman’s 24th career appearance at Fenway Park, dating back to his tenure with the Houston Astros.

Within this limited timeframe, the 31-year-old third baseman has already amassed 20 extra-base hits. According to Sarah Langs from MLB.com, this ranks as the second-highest total by any player in their first 24 games at Fenway Park.

Travis Hafner holds the record with 21, while Joe Carter, Tony Oliva, and Ken Keltner now share third place with 19 each. The Red Sox secured Bregman with a three-year, $120 million deal in February, adding a right-handed batter to balance their predominantly left-handed lineup.

Bregman, a two-time All-Star, two-time World Series winner, and Gold Glove recipient, is currently hitting .341 with a .974 OPS over 10 games this season.
