Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (17) sits out a portion of the fourth quarter after the Bills held a large lead over then Jets during second half action at the Bills home game against the New York Jets at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park on Dec. 29, 2024.
As the Bills gear up for their showdown against the Ravens this Sunday, they’re greeted with the sweet sight of a relatively clean injury report. This bodes well for Buffalo, as just about all hands are on deck.
Returning to the mix is kick returner Brandon Codrington, who shook off the pesky hamstring issue that kept him sidelined last week. He participated fully in the day’s walk-through, signaling that he’s ready to be a difference-maker in the special teams department once more.
Joining Codrington with full participation were several key players, ensuring the Bills have depth in crucial areas. Receiver Amari Cooper and cornerback Christian Benford are back from their back niggles, while cornerback Taron Johnson has overcome his neck strain. Dalton Kincaid, the promising tight end, shrugged off a knee concern to be back at practice. Defensive stalwarts like Cam Lewis, who dealt with shoulder and neck issues, and linebackers Matt Milano and Dorian Williams, shaking off biceps and elbow concerns respectively, were also fully active. Not to forget, tight end Quintin Morris (groin) and defensive end Greg Rousseau (finger) were both fully involved, rounding out a robust defense ready to halt the Ravens’ offense.
However, not everyone was as fortunate. Running back Ray Davis is still feeling the aftereffects of a concussion and remains limited, alongside offensive lineman Alec Anderson, who is dealing with a calf issue.
Meanwhile, in a breath of fresh air for Bills fans, star quarterback Josh Allen is completely free of any injury worries. The absence of his name on the injury report is a reassuring sign that he’s set to continue playing at his dynamic best.
With most key players available for action, the Bills are positioned to make a strong push against the Ravens, putting their depth and resilience to the test in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
