Josh Allen’s teammates gave him the MVP treatment this Christmas.
The Buffalo Bills offensive line gifted the 28-year-old quarterback a custom diamond chain necklace that says “MVP” on it with his jersey No. 17 for the holiday.
The back of the chain, which is shaped like an NFL jersey, lists the names of Allen’s offensive teammates.
Bills’ Dion Dawkins filmed Allen’s reaction to the gift and shared the video on his Instagram Stories on Dec. 25. “Merry Christmas to our MVP,” Dawkins wrote on the video.
“That’s so sick,” Allen said when receiving the chain.

The newly-engaged quarterback isn’t the NFL’s MVP this season just yet, but he’s a strong favorite to take home the honor if he beats out Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.
Allen’s potential MVP season accompanies another big milestone for the NFL star, who popped the question to girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld in November.
On Nov. 29, the couple shared a romantic photo on Instagram together of Allen down on one knee in front of Steinfeld, with both surrounded by an arch of pink and red roses next to a body of water. They captioned the post with just a simple date: Nov. 22.

In a later Q&A session in Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter, Allen admitted he was nervous Steinfeld would catch on to his plan on the day of the engagement. “I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” he wrote.
“It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Multiple times throughout the day, a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”

Since their engagement, Allen has spoken highly of the support he receives from Steinfeld during the demanding NFL season.
He told the Associated Press that Steinfeld has been “a huge part” of his success this year. “The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best,” Allen said.
